Three days ago you mentioned MPT rating was 3 which equals to A Very Bearish Signal (Anticipate Selling). But since then we’ve seen a dramatic upward move.

Did anyone notice what the vix did, it shot to over 180 & came right back, what the #### was that!!!

  6. Interesting I noticed TIF – Tiffany – I mistook the chart for the Dow.
It is almost like the Dow’s little sister.

  7. Hi Christian
Where can I find a list of stocks like TZA. I don’t have this on my platform but I see the excellent opportunities in similar stock.

  8. @OldMrGrace well said.

@zappowzap Best of luck to you. Being a contrarian can pay off big. I cannot see one single reason to be long at this point. I’m not saying the market won’t bounce sometime soon, but the risk/reward isn’t worth it to me just for the sake of a % or 2.

  10. @pokermon919 Thanks! Glad to have you with us.

Hey Christian, you should pull some fib lines I haven’t done it on the Dow daily chart but I bet money that pullback hits a classic percentage and will continue to fall. Again that right shoulder is looking more complete every freaking trading day. Thanks for the vid. Looking forward to more.

@mistapikkles $vix 349.42 was the bad print BTW

  13. @axon12 We have a list of books I recommend on our free website posted in the message forum for your review.

  14. What books do you reccomend for traders? thanks.

Christian if you got think or swim check out the “bad print” on the vix.. use a Fibonacci and put a 423.6% overshoot on it from the lifetime high of 89.53 to the lifetime low of 9.39.. The “bad print” lines up perfectly with that 423.6%…. Interesting and if the Vix get’s that high.. OMG!!

  16. @pizzzaz2 That is too funny! You are more than welcome!

  17. @karenbcz22 Thank you, Sir!

    Outstanding!!
THE BEST technical analysis on the web!
    Thanks, Christian.

  19. Been a fan for several months…it’s like a pavlovian response at the end of the day.
Sometime can you explain your gaps as I was taught there would be an obvious open space and I don’t always see that in your discussion. Have learned a lot and appreciate how hard you work for us…thanks

also to note i look at the 1 year weekly chart.
put on the 13EMA and 26EMA and the 13 has started crossing the 26 which IMO is pretty darn bearish……
Im hoping for a bounce tomorrow from the GDP report and if not im buying some inverse etfs.

  22. Wow, everyone is so bearish and sure of lower prices. I’m going to argue for going long here (bought TNA today) mostly because the dollar has a declining 20 sma and this should prop up stock prices and I’d like to be contrarian to all the doom. So Im long with a tight stop loss just under today’s lows.

  23. @astoria3011 just a different setting, I like the one I use as that is what I have grown to understand overtime… you may use whatever works best for you.

I have my Scottrade’s slow stochastics’ K at (5, 3). It’s already at the bottom and showing mkt is oversold. Is K at 14 is better?

  25. @mistapikkles Glad to hear it!
